Group Programs

ETC offers a variety of group therapy programs. Groups are open to both voluntary and court-ordered clients.

Domestic Violence Survivor Group: Domestic Violence Victim Group

24 week program meeting weekly with other domestic violence survivors. The emphasis is on domestic violence education, healthy relationships, parenting, victimization, trauma, self-awareness, self-esteem, safety planning and personal empowerment.

Domestic Violence Offender Group

A weekly group that follows the Colorado State Domestic Violence Standard criterion emphasizing accountability, victim empathy, coping skills, and personal change.

Conflict Resolution: Anger Management

12 week program meeting weekly to develop healthy relationships, better communications and effective problem solving techniques.

Love and Logic Parenting Group

An 8 week program meeting weekly based on the popular Love & Logic series which is designed to assist parents with new skills such as logical consequences and loving empathy. (Also available in Spanish)

Nurturing Parenting Program

This 16 week program meets weekly, and is based on the Nurturing Parenting Program. Children and parents are expected to participate in learning skills that assist in developing a nurturing familial relationship, effective parent child interactions, and applying new tools to support a healthy family dynamic. Adolescent Survivor Group: Adolescent Victim Group

A 24 week program meeting weekly with other adolescent domestic violence survivors with an emphasis on domestic violence education, healthy dating relationships, victimization, trauma, self-awareness, self-esteem, safety planning and personal empowerment.

Adolescent Offender Group

A weekly group that follows the Colorado State Domestic Violence Standard criterion emphasizing accountability, victim empathy, coping skills, and personal change.
